Forza Horizon 6 doesn't try to make your first car choice feel punishing. Mei gives you three options, you pick one for the drive into the festival, and that's pretty much it. You're not locking yourself out of anything. All three end up in your garage, which is why the smart way to look at these FH6 Cars is less "which one do I keep?" and more "which one makes the first hour feel better?" There is a catch, though. These aren't plain showroom versions. Mei's starter builds are already tuned, so they feel sharper and stronger than the standard cars you'd buy later. Don't sell them just because they look like tutorial rewards. They're actually useful.
Why the choice still matters early onOn paper, the Nissan Silvia K's, Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205, and GMC Jimmy all sit in C Class at PI 500. That sounds even, but they don't drive the same at all. The Celica is the easy one to trust. It has AWD, decent braking, good speed, and enough off-road ability to handle mixed routes without making you sweat. If you're still learning the map and don't know whether the next event is tarmac, dirt, or something in between, the Celica keeps things simple. It won't always be the fastest in a specialist event, but it rarely feels like the wrong car.
The Silvia is for players who like rotationThe 1989 Nissan Silvia K's is the oddball in the best way. It's rear-wheel drive, lighter in feel, and much happier when you let the back end move around. Its braking stat is weak, so if you barrel into corners and expect the car to save you, it won't. You'll need throttle control. You'll need to brake earlier. Once it clicks, though, the Silvia is a fun street and drift starter. It's not the safest pick for brand-new players, but if you already enjoy sliding through bends and keeping momentum, you'll probably bond with it fast.
The Jimmy wants dirt, jumps, and open spaceThe 1970 GMC Jimmy is a brute compared with the other two. It has the strongest acceleration, the best launch, huge torque, and by far the best off-road rating. Point it at rough ground and it just digs in. That makes it great for cross-country runs, stunt routes, and messy terrain where clean racing lines matter less than grip and shove. The trade-off is obvious as soon as you take it onto tighter roads. It's heavy, it doesn't turn with much grace, and it can feel clumsy on technical asphalt sections. Pick it if you want power and mud, not neat corner carving.
Picking the best fit for your first sessionsIf you want the most practical starter, take the Toyota Celica GT-Four. It's the safest all-rounder and it cuts down on early retries. If you want to practise drifting, take the Silvia and accept that it'll punish lazy inputs. If you mostly care about off-road races and big stunts, the Jimmy gives you a head start. Later on, your garage will grow and the starter choice won't feel so important, but these tuned cars can still fill useful niches. Players building out their collection may also choose to Forza Horizon 6 buy Credits when they want quicker access to upgrades, fresh builds, or extra vehicles for different event types.
